Job summary

Brigham House seeks a per diem Dietary Wait Staff to deliver courteous dining service in Corcoran House Assisted Living, Clinton, MA. You will assist residents with menus, seating, and dining options while maintaining a clean and welcoming dining room.

You will work closely with the Food Service Director to ensure meals meet residents’ needs and standards, promote resident satisfaction, and participate in daily side work and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of dining room or wait staff experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety standards is expected.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to resolve customer dissatisfaction professionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, compassionate dining service in a restaurant-style atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the Food Service Director to support menu planning and resident satisfaction.
• Foster teamwork across staff and residents.
• Assist new residents with menus, seating, dining options, and hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of dining areas and equipment.
• Serve beverages and handle meal orders accurately and on time.
• Complete side work per shift checklists and SOPs.
• Follow established protocols and policies.
• Support special events held in the dining room.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
