Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and delivering healthy meals for residents, coordinating with Dietitians on allergies and restrictions. You will follow safety standards, communicate with residents and staff, and help ensure meals meet nutritional needs throughout the shift.

Under supervision of a lead Dietitian or Chef, you will support nutrition delivery, maintain cleanliness, and provide courteous service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively (verbal and written, English).
• Read and understand written instructions and follow safety practices.
• Be cordial and congenial with residents.
• Dependable, detail oriented, organized, and with good follow through.
• Able to work with limited supervision and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation, hospitality duties, and meal service under guidance.
• Deliver dishes, trays, and coordinate designated times/rooms.
• Assist in setting up and clearing dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Follow sanitation guidelines, federal/state regulations, and Senior Living/Healthcare requirements.
