Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and delivering healthy meals for residents. You will work with Dietitians and nursing staff to ensure dietary needs and restrictions are followed, and help communicate resident allergies or special needs.

The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and compassionate patient interaction, with guidance from a lead Dietitian or Chef. Evening/weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; ServSafe training beneficial.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit required.
• Restaurant/food service experience preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation and meal service under supervision.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms and times.
• Set up and clear dining areas with emphasis on cleanliness.
• Follow all sanitation guidelines and safety standards.
• Provide courteous service during nutrition delivery.
