Job summary

Covenant Living & CovenantCare is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in meal preparation and delivery for residents, under the guidance of a Dietitian or Chef. You will help ensure proper nutrition, assist with dining service, and uphold safety standards.

Strong communication, dependability, and attention to detail are essential as you interact with residents and staff. The role supports a compassionate, patient-centered environment in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Food Handler’s Permit required; ServSafe training beneficial.
• Experience in food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food prep, hospitality duties, and meal service under guidance.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms and times.
• Assist in dining area setup and cleanup with attention to cleanliness.
• Follow sanitation guidelines, state/federal regulations, and healthcare requirements.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform assigned cleaning duties.
• Provide courteous customer service during nutrition delivery.
