Job summary

PruittHealth in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to assist with food preparation and meal delivery for patients. You will follow established procedures for food handling, sanitation, and equipment maintenance, delivering trays and nourishments as directed by the Dietary Manager.

On-site role with equal emphasis on patient service and safety. The position requires basic literacy and a willingness to learn, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow written procedures.
• Ability to work in a patient/resident dining environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal preparation for patients/residents, including desserts and snacks.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on each hall and in dining areas.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments in accordance with guidelines.
• Record menu substitutions and follow procedures for partner meals.
• Maintain cleanliness: dining areas, kitchen, and equipment.
• Support infection control policies and safety regulations.
