Job summary

PruittHealth in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to assist with meal preparation, tray delivery, and kitchen sanitation under the guidance of the Dietary Manager. This role follows established guidelines for storing, serving, and transporting food for patients and residents.

You will assist cooks, deliver meals, and prepare between-meal nourishments while upholding infection control policies and a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Previous food service and/or food preparation experience preferred.
• Long term care dietary experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing meals, desserts and/or snacks for patients/residents; i.e. salads and desserts.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on halls and to dining area; serve meals and beverages.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and record substitutions.
• Follow food handling procedures and infection control policies.
• Maintain clean dining and kitchen areas; clean equipment and surfaces.
• Assist with inventory checks and proper storage of supplies.
• Attend mandatory trainings and maintain professional demeanor.
