PruittHealth is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to assist with meal preparation, tray delivery, and dining room service in a patient-care setting. You will follow established food handling and sanitation procedures while supporting the dietary team.

Responsibilities include assisting cooks, recording substitutions, and maintaining a clean dining and kitchen area. On-the-job training is provided and prior long-term care dietary experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Previous food service experience and/or long term care dietary experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assists cook in preparing meals, desserts and snacks for patients/residents.
• Uses proper food handling processes, procedures and policies.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Delivers and serves meals to patients/residents in dining area; food and beverages.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments and serves per guidelines.
• Offers menu substitutions and records them per guidelines.
• Follows procedures for serving partner meals.
• Communicates with patients/residents/families with a warm, friendly demeanor and responds to concerns professionally.
