Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Dietary Aide HCC to support meal preparation and service for patients and residents. You will assist cooks, deliver trays on patient floors, and help maintain dining area cleanliness following established guidelines.

Experience in food service is preferred; on‑the‑job training is provided. Strong communication and a caring, team‑oriented attitude are essential to ensure patient comfort and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• None, on‑the‑job training is provided.
• Previous food service and/or food preparation experience preferred, long term care dietary experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing meals, desserts and snacks for patients/residents.
• Deliver trays to patients/residents on halls and in dining areas.
• Serve meals and beverages to patients/residents and assist with between-meal nourishments.
• Record menu substitutions and adhere to procedural guidelines.
• Follow safety, infection control and sanitation protocols.
