Job summary

Ansley Park Health & Rehab is seeking a kitchen helper to prepare meals per dietician menus for elderly residents. You will operate kitchen equipment, keep work areas clean, and ensure meals are prepared in large quantities using institutional cookware.

The role requires reading safety procedures, following dietary orders, and maintaining timely service with attention to portion controls and leftovers handling.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various foods according to menu created by dieticians for each meal.
• Operates kitchen equipment such as mixer, meat slicer, food processor, oven, steamer.
• Keeps surfaces clean and stores unused foods.
• Ensures meals are prepared in large quantities for elderly residents and uses institutional cookware.
• Maintains timely meal service and follows diet orders.
