Job summary

Azalea Health & Rehab is hiring a full-time kitchen associate to prepare meals per dietician menus and operate standard kitchen equipment. The role requires adherence to infection control policies, accurate temperature recording, and timely meal service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares foods according to diet menus created by dieticians.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixer, oven, steamer, slicer).
• Keeps work area clean and sanitized; follows infection control policies.
• Meets meal deadlines and assists in serving meals as ordered.
• Records temperatures of freezers and walk-ins per procedures.
• Performs other duties to ensure menu execution and service quality.
