Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Able to follow standardized recipes and menus.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals according to the menu created by dieticians.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixer, slicer, processor, oven, steamer).
• Cleans work surfaces and sweeps floors after shifts.
• Produces meals in large quantities using institutional cookware.
• Ensures meals are ready on time and diets are served as ordered.
• Monitors diet orders (including therapeutic diets) and records changes.
