Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a friendly Cook in Round Rock to prepare high-quality meals for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities. You will work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen focusing on excellent service and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe and foodsafety permits, and strong communication with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
