Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a cook to prepare meals for residents across independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities. You will help maintain high standards of food quality and service, contribute to a positive dining experience, and work within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications include 1+ year of kitchen experience, ServSafe certification, and the ability to accommodate dietary needs. Excellent communication with residents and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items
• Monitor stock
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner
