Sagora Senior Living is seeking a Cook for Heritage Place Assisted Living in Burleson, TX. You will prepare high-quality meals for residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. This role supports independent living, assisted living, or memory care communities within Sagora’s portfolio.

Requirements include 1+ years in a commercial kitchen, ServSafe Certification, and a Food Handler’s permit, plus strong verbal and written communication with residents and team members.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
