Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Pine River, MN is seeking a cook for a PRN position. You will prepare and serve meals to patients and staff, following menu and dietary guidelines. The role requires adherence to HACCP guidelines, maintaining sanitation, and operating kitchen equipment with accuracy.

Flexible weekday/weekend shifts, opportunities to advance, and potential weekend differentials are offered. A high school diploma is preferred, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
• Perform basic math as part of food preparation and measurements.
• On-the-job training provided; Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• Six months of applicable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles baked goods, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Adheres to HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixers, ovens, kettles, etc.) and maintains cleanliness.
• Communicates effectively with team to support a smooth kitchen operation.
