Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care under supervision. The role requires CNA licensure, a minimum of 6 months experience, and excellent English communication to interact with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be CNA licensed.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per policies and procedures and as directed by nursing leadership.
• Make resident rounds at start of shift and periodically to provide quality care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Help with bed making and maintaining clean bedside areas.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and accessible to residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
