Job summary

Qualifications

• Have a license as a certified nursing assistant.
• A minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language.
• Need patience, tact and enthusiasm to work with ill, elderly and disabled residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours thereafter.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions promptly.
• Make beds and clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and available to residents.
• Carry out other duties as directed by supervisors.
