Job summary

Auburn Oaks Care Center is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to care plans and supervisor directions. You will identify residents, assist with meals, mobility, and personal care, and maintain clean, safe rooms.

Responsibilities include accurately recording observations, reporting changes, protecting resident privacy, following infection control policies, and participating in shift handovers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state. CPR Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care according to resident care plans and supervisor directions.
• Identify residents before treatments or meals and document accurately.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts clearly and descriptively.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow privacy policies.
• Greet residents, assist with mobility and daily activities, and support a warm environment.
• Participate in nursing handovers and support other staff to ensure quality care.
