Job summary

Auburn Oaks Care Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans. You will identify residents, document observations, assist with daily activities, and ensure comfort and safety on every shift.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork with nursing staff, adherence to policies, and support during transfers and meals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a state-licensed CNA
• CPR certification preferred
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials
• Ability to write reports and communicate clearly
• Ability to lift and move residents up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before providing treatments or meals using wristbands or photo IDs
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts
• Report changes in residents' condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, and room readiness
• Protect resident privacy and confidential information
• Assist residents with daily activities, mobility, and meals as directed
• Escort residents to rooms and assist with transfers and equipment
• Participate in nursing shifts and communicate with team to improve care
