Job summary

The Abbey Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is hiring a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan. You will identify residents, assist with meals, help with mobility, and support residents in daily activities while maintaining dignity and safety.

Responsibilities include documenting observations, reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor, and ensuring rooms are prepared and residents are escorted and comforted.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CNA license.
• Experience with resident care and basic nursing tasks preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and during routine care.
• Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative manner.
• Assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, and transportation as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and follow policies on information security.
• Support residents in preparing for medical tests and physician visits.
