Job summary

SANANTONIOWEST is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with care plans. You will identify residents, monitor conditions, and document observations meticulously, while maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality.

The role requires adherence to facility policies on exposure to blood/body fluids and safe handling of equipment, with teamwork across shifts to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments or meals and escort to rooms.
• Record entries and observations accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Follow facility policies for exposure to blood/body fluids and infection control.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility as trained.
• Prepare rooms, greet residents, and assist with transfers and positioning.
