Job summary

Charleston-Post-Acute in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care under supervision. You will identify residents with wristbands, assist with meals and mobility, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

Responsibilities include reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor, documenting in flow sheets, protecting resident privacy, and following facility policies on blood exposure and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess a CNA license as required by state law.
• Minimum 10th grade education; able to read, write and interpret information.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to assist with lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per the resident's care plan and assessments.
• Identify residents using wristband/photo card before procedures or meals.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately and descriptively.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality of health information.
• Assist with transfers, meals, daily activities, and transportation as needed.
