Job summary

Canyon Vista Post Acute in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with care plans.

You will identify residents, assist with daily living activities, observe health changes, document accurately, and maintain a warm, safe environment. Must hold CNA license and meet state requirements; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and ensure correct care delivery.
• Record entries informatively on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident room readiness and ensure personal care needs are met.
• Assist with daily living activities and transfers, as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any disclosures.
• Follow established policies, procedures and work assignments.
• Observe for pressure areas and skin breakdowns and report issues.
