Job summary

Richland-Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care and support to residents according to their care plans. You will identify residents, document care, and promptly report changes in condition to charge nurses, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and a respectful, compassionate environment.

You will assist residents with daily activities, help prepare for tests, and ensure safe transport and handling.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business procedures or regulations.
• Ability to write reports and communicate clearly with staff and residents.
• Strong attention to detail when recording information and documenting care.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents with wristband/photo ID before procedures.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any HIPAA concerns.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as trained.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and examinations.
• Help with positioning, transfers, and safe transport of residents.
• Ensure rooms are ready and residents are comfortable on arrival.
