Job summary

Emerald Coast Center is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care in a Florida facility. You will identify residents, assist with daily activities, and maintain accurate documentation while following care plans and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include transporting residents, preparing them for tests, and reporting any condition changes to the Nurse Supervisor promptly. CPR certification is preferred; equal opportunity employer statement applies.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Language Skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials and regulations.
• Reasoning Ability: solve practical problems with concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services according to resident care plans.
• Identify residents before treatments and meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Maintain accurate records on flow sheets, notes, and charts with clear, descriptive entries.
• Report changes in resident condition and any incidents to supervisors promptly.
• Assist with daily activities, mobility, positioning, and transfers as trained.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and examinations and assist with transports.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and follow policies on exposure to blood/body fluids.
