Job summary

Harmony is seeking a dedicated CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide quality daily living assistance to residents. You will encourage independence, participate in community activities, and help maintain a meaningful daily experience for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, documenting care, and supporting move-in transitions while maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the state where the community is located.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate staff and document accordingly.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and common spaces.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Assist residents to and from dining and activities; ensure attendance at meals.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and documentation.
• Assist new residents with move-in and provide emotional support.
• Maintain and document resident status in the Daily Log and clinical records.
• Notify family as directed.
