Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a CNA/Direct Care Giver to provide compassionate daily living support in a residential community. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, promote independence, and support meaningful activities.

As part of a nursing team, you’ll document care, respond to emergencies, and maintain confidentiality while delivering respectful, person-centered care across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must possess current CNA license from the State in which the community is located.
• Effective verbal and written communication is required.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Team member with ability to follow supervisor instructions.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Encourage independence and participation in community activities.
• Conduct activities and provide meaningful experiences for residents.
• Report incidents and document appropriately in records.
• Perform housekeeping duties as directed.
• Communicate resident status and changes to the care team.
• Assist move-in transitions with emotional support.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
