Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a motivated Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver routine nursing care in line with established policies. The role reports to the Charge Nurse and is focused on maintaining high-quality resident care at all times.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA license, has 6+ months CNA experience or clinical CNA coursework, and demonstrates empathy, patience, and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff. This is a full-time position in a care facility setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA license.
• Minimum 6 months CNA experience or clinical experience in CNA class.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, family, visitors and staff.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Round on residents at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identity before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned and within residents' reach.
• Other duties as directed by nursing leadership.
