Job summary

Sweetwater Care is seeking a Licensed CNA to provide routine nursing care under supervision. This role requires the CNA license and at least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical CNA exposure.

Strong English communication and a compassionate approach to caring for ill, aged, and disabled residents are essential. You will perform rounds, verify resident IDs, and maintain safe, clean care environments while following facility policies.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA license and 6 months' experience as a CNA or clinical experience in a CNA program.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to relate to ill, elderly, and disabled residents with patience and tact.
• Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in accordance with facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at start of shift and every two hours to provide nursing care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals to ensure correct delivery.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions immediately.
• Make beds and maintain clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean and within residents' reach.
• Other duties as directed by Charge Nurse, RN Supervisor, Director of Nurses or Administrator.
