Job summary

Ohio Living seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality daily nursing care in alignment with company standards and regulations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and CNA certification in good standing is necessary.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. You will assist with ADLs, support the Plan of Care, and help residents with dignity, safety, and comfort in a caring team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Experience: None required; on-the-job training provided.
• Other Requirements: Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Care Management and Service Delivery - Provides daily resident and patient care in accordance with nursing procedures and as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintains the Plan of Care for the resident or patient.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) including personal hygiene, elimination, comfort and safety, ambulation, lifting, skin care, nutrition, and hydration.
• Assists with care of the dying resident and provides post-mortem care.
• Observes and reports pressure areas and skin breakdown.
• Assists with nursing treatments as required.
• Provides daily rehabilitative/restorative procedures as required.
• Creates and maintains a warm, personal environment throughout the unit.
• Answers resident calls promptly.
