Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality daily nursing care in accordance with company standards and regulatory guidelines. The role emphasizes compassionate patient support and adherence to care plans within the unit.

The CNA will perform essential care duties, assist with activities of daily living, monitor residents, and document care activities in the EMR while maintaining a safe, warm environment for residents and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily resident care in accordance with nursing procedures and as instructed by the Charge Nurse.
• Maintain the Plan of Care for the resident or patient.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living including personal hygiene, elimination, comfort and safety, ambulation, lifting, skin care, nutrition, and hydration.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and provide post-mortem care.
• Observe and report pressure areas and skin breakdown.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required and provide daily rehabilitative/restorative procedures.
• Create and maintain a warm, personal atmosphere and a calm environment throughout the unit.
• Answer resident calls promptly.

Education
