Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center is seeking an experienced certified nursing assistant for our Maternal Care Center. You will perform vital signs and ADLs under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following established care plans and participating in staff education and professional initiatives.

The position requires Maryland CNA license, BLS, and strong English communication. It is a variable part-time role with day shifts and potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA program completion and successful CNA exam required.
• Maryland CNA license required and must be on the State Registry.
• Active BLS certification required and ability to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform vital signs and activities of daily living under RN supervision.
• Follow care plans established and delegated by the RN.
• Participate in education programs, meetings and professional initiatives.
• Maintain a culture of safety and appropriate use of resources.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned and stored properly.
