Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services to residents according to the resident’s assessment and care plan.
• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Report changes in resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily activities and mobility as directed by supervisors.
• Prepare residents for medical tests and examinations.
• Assist with transferring and transporting residents between rooms and to the receiving area.
• Observe and report pressure areas or skin breakdowns; prevent decubitus ulcers.
• Report injuries or incidents promptly to supervisors.
