Job summary

FIRSTCOAST is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with each resident's care plan. You will identify residents before procedures, document care, and report changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

The role requires protecting resident privacy and assisting with daily activities to maintain a safe, comfortable environment. Responsibilities include bedside care, accurate record-keeping, adherence to policies, and collaborating with the nursing team to ensure quality

Qualifications

• Provide routine daily nursing care per the resident's care plan.
• Identify residents before treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Maintain accurate and descriptive flow sheets and charts.
• Respect patient privacy and protect health information.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Record entries clearly on flow sheets and charts.
• Notify Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse of changes in condition.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility as needed.
• Observe and report injuries or skin issues and other concerns.
