Job summary

Rocky Mountain Personal Care-Utah in Woods Cross, UT is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care to residents per care plans and facility policies under supervision.

The role requires compassionate service, ability to lift up to 35 pounds, manage ADLs, document care, and collaborate with nursing staff. Day shift, non-exempt, hourly pay range $17-$19, CPR/BLS and Food Handler's permits preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current Food Handler's Permit.
• Must have no disciplinary action on certification.
• At least one year of LTC/CNAs experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse, med tech and other staff as needed and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists resident with activities of daily living according to care plans.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
• Coordinates dining room services at meals and documents intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and tracks intake.
• Reports weight changes to nurse and supervisor.
• Maintains flow sheets and communicates changes in resident condition.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and confidentiality policies.
