Job summary

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state (preferred, not required).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current Food Handler Permit
• Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Provides CNA services to residents under supervision.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Assists with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
• Coordinates dining room services and documents meal intake.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and tracks intake when needed.
• Documents weight changes and reports to nurse.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices as required.
