Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support the nursing team under RN supervision.

The role requires CNA certification with the State Board, or enrollment in a training program with certification imminent. Aged 16+ with preferred prior LTC experience; ongoing continuing education is required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board or in process of obtaining certification.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Minimum age 16; relevant clinical experience preferred.
• Annual continuing education is required and documented.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; monitor and document vital signs.
• Follow care plans and infection prevention protocols.
• Support and communicate with RN and nursing staff.
