Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility under RN supervision, ensuring safety and quality care for residents.

The role requires an active CNA license, high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to work evening shifts. A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is available for qualifying applicants and generous shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Completes yearly competency testing and maintains 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• Certified/registered with UAP Registry where applicable.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver with valid license and driving duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist residents with transferring, repositioning and mobility using proper techniques.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals, dining, and participation in wellness activities; support care plan adherence.
