Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is hiring a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs, feeding, and help with transfers under RN supervision.

This 40-hour/week position offers day shifts, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. CNA certification is required or must be obtained within four months of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or in process within four months of date into the position.
• Completes yearly competency testing and maintains continuing education credits (12 hours annually).
• may require driving responsibilities with Sanford Driving Policy where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and meals; record vital signs.
• Communicate resident condition changes to the charge nurse and document care.
• Assist with transfers, walking, and range-of-motion exercises; support infection prevention policies.
