Job summary

Kindred Hospital Dallas Central and ARU seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to support clinical staff in providing patient care in a LTACH/ARU setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharge planning.

Under RN direction, you will perform routine tasks, ensure patient comfort, and maintain accurate documentation. Other duties include responding to call lights and supporting a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• CNA Certification upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing personnel in patient care and activities of daily living.
• Record and report temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, and intake/output; document accurately.
• Prepare patient rooms and supplies; help with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Assist with repositioning, ambulation, and personal care while maintaining safety.
• Respond to call lights and paging, providing timely patient comfort and support.
