Job summary

Kindred Hospital Dallas Central and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) seeks a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff in a LTACH/ARU environment. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide patient care, and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable patient area.

Under RN supervision, you will perform routine tasks, monitor patients, and document observations. A High School Diploma and CNA certification preferred, with strong English communication required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Consult with supervisor about unit activities, needs, and problems related to patient care.
• Provide general nursing care: positioning, turning, feeding, hygiene, and room preparation.
• Record vital signs accurately and document promptly.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge procedures under RN guidance.
