Job summary

Kindred Hospital Dallas Central and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist nursing staff in providing patient care and support daily living activities. You will help with positioning, feeding, and basic clinical tasks under RN supervision.

Requires excellent communication, fluency in English, and the ability to maintain accurate records in a fast-paced hospital setting. Prior LTACH/ARU or acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing personnel in patient care in assigned area.
• Support activities of daily living and personal care.
• Record vital signs and intake/output accurately.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for admissions and transfers.
• Assist with patient mobility, feeding, and positioning.
• Respond to call lights and paging for patient needs.
• Support RN/LPN with routine procedures and care.
• Transport patients and assist with discharge procedures.
