Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea in Minnesota. The role includes resident-centered nursing care, daily living assistance, and collaboration with an RN to implement care plans.

Must have CNA certification or be in process, be at least 16, and be able to work 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM with every other weekend. This 32-hour weekly position offers benefits and a pathway to contribute to a compassionate, patient-focused care team in a rural community

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with state's Board of Nursing or in progress of obtaining certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility tasks.
• Assist with meals, dining, and hydration; provide psychosocial support.
