Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring a full-time Nursing Assistant at Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea in southern Minnesota. You will provide resident-centered nursing care during the evening shift (1:30 PM to 10:00 PM) for a 32-hour work week, ensuring safety and quality of life for residents in long-term care.

The role requires an active MN CNA certification (or within four months of start) and adherence to infection prevention, PPE, and care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Active MN CNA certification required or in process within four months.
• Annual continuing education minimum 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and mobility using proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and dining activities to create a positive dining experience.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Participate in infection control and PPE guidelines.
