Job summary

Good Samaritan Society – Albert Lea is seeking a Nursing Assistant for full-time evening shifts (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM), 32 hours per week. The role provides resident-centered care in a long-term/skilled setting under RN supervision, including daily living assistance, vital signs, and support for meals and activities.

Active MN CNA certification is required; bonus eligibility is available. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), and generous time off.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Active Minnesota CNA certification required or in process of obtaining certification.
Annual continuing education credits required (minimum 12 hours).
May require Sanford Category II Driver eligibility in some cases.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
Assist with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, dressing, eating and mobility.
Record vital signs and communicate changes to charge nurse.
Assist with transfers, range of motion and use of transfer equipment.
Contribute to meal assistance and dining experience; support wellness activities.
