Good Samaritan Society – Albert Lea is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for 20 hours per week on the night shift. The role includes resident-centered care, vital signs, and daily living assistance under RN supervision, with emphasis on infection control and posture transfers.

Active MN CNA certification is required or in process of certification; position offers bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. Night schedule 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing required or in process of obtaining.
• Continuing education credits: minimum 12 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Record vital signs and report changes to RN and charge nurse.
• Ensure infection prevention and PPE usage and assist with meals and dining.
