Job summary

Sanford Health’s Good Samaritan Society - Albert Lea in Minnesota is seeking a Nights CNA to provide resident-centered care in a long‑term care setting. You will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and assist nurses as part of a care team working 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with every other weekend rotation.

Active MN CNA certification is required; previous long-term care experience is preferred. 28 hours weekly, with pay commensurate with experience and a competitive benefits package

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by the State Board of Nursing or in progress.
• GED or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Support transferring, repositioning, and mobility with proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, dining, hydration, and supplement administration as needed.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; report changes to RN.
• Participate in infection control and safety policies; maintain equipment cleanliness.
