Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Monclova Road Medical Office Building 5705. The role partners with the primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care, manage health records, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

The position requires CMA/RMA/CCMA certification, BLS/CPR, and may require one year of healthcare experience. Mercy Health emphasizes compassionate, respectful care and strong teamwork in a faith-based environment.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• Active Medical Assisting certification from CMA/RMA/CCMA or equivalent.
• BLS/CPR certification required at hire for some Mercy Health locations.
• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community with excellent customer service.
• Prepare & review patient charts; verify diagnostic tests and hospital reports.
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
• Perform clerical duties (inventory, track referrals, answer phones).
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; perform other duties as assigned.
