Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work with the primary care physician at the Little Miami Health Center. You will review and update health records, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms. You will greet patients, verify test results, and handle clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Active Medical Assisting certification from one of the approved bodies (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NRCMA, NCMA, ABR-OE)
• Two years clerical experience in a physician's office (preferred)
• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner
• Prepare and review patient charts for upcoming visits
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height)
• Perform clerical duties (inventory, stock supplies, referrals, phones)
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly
