Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support the primary care physician and deliver excellent patient care within the Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines. You will review and update health records, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms for upcoming examinations.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, team collaboration, and adherence to policies. High school diploma or GED required with MA certification within 12 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Certification as CMA/RMA/CCMA or ABR-OE within 12 months of start date

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and community in a respectful manner
• Review and update patient charts, verify diagnostic tests and hospital reports
• Measure vital signs (pulse, respirations, BP, weight, height)
• Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals tracking, answering phones
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly
• Other duties as assigned
